Introducing... The Strange Mr. Weird!
On his wedding day, Dr. Darius Weir's bride was abducted as part of a deal the doctor (when he was a struggling, young Medical Student) made with the demon B'gast.
After the loss of his wife, Weir retired from Medical Practice and became a practitioner of the Dark Arts. He hopes to amass enough Occult knowledge and Mystic power to defeat B'gast, and free his long-lost love.
However, B'gast is as cunning as he is cruel, and has vowed to thwart Mr. Weird at every opportunity.
*Note- I originally wanted to call him "Dr. Weird", inspired by an old-time radio show, but there are currently two other characters (that I am aware of) using the name Dr. Weird.
