One of my personal favorite characters of your's. Very distinctive while remaining a familiar Superman archetype. :D

Thanks for the fave. Glad you like him.
He'll be showing up in at least three team-ups next year.
There is also a custom-made Mythic figure that is nearing completion too!

I love that his physique is very similar to the one that Curt Swan drew for Superman, but with a Kirby ink style.

Wasn't planned, but now that you've pointed it out...I totally see it!

Mythic is (for lack of a better term) "A Black Superman". So the Swan physique stems from that mindset, I suppose.
And there's just no telling when a Kirby trait will appear. (More often than not if I'm lucky)

It's not at all bad to wear your influences on your sleeve.

Take Lumion. Green arm = Power Ring (though more like Guy Guardner in brute force) (Throw in that he's one of many gifted with the Dragon's gifts, making him a member of a corps.). Transformation, super strength and dragon-provided skills - SHAZAM!

Though, I do admit that I cribbed heavily from Hellboy with his old distended arm, Spider-man for his shirt pattern, and just recently borrowed from Iceman and the Silver Surfer for his travel method.
